Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a deep, authentic relationship in support of your own healing. It is a place to be honest and to better understand yourself.

Together, we will create a space where you feel safe to be fully seen. My style is warm, holistic and relational, and I aim to be deeply present, actively engaged, attuned, empathic, and collaborative. Together, we will help you feel more aligned, alive and present in your everyday life.

We may explore current challenges in your life. We will also work on healing past events that may have hurt you. Traumas, big or small, impact us all, and sometimes the result is we develop a layer of protection around ourselves that shield us from the world. There is deep wisdom in this protection in that it helped us survive the past, but in the present it often prevents us from experiencing joy and connection to ourself and others.

Therapy is also an opportunity to be given things you may not have experienced before in relationship: attunement, deep listening, an authentic, secure attachment with another person, and warm, genuine, unconditional positive regard.
